Doraemon
A cat-model robot that was born on September 3, 2112. He came from the 22nd century with Sewashi, one of Nobita's descendants. He has a "4-dimensional pocket" attached to his stomach, from which he can pull "secret gadgets" to help Nobita, but being somewhat scatterbrained himself, he often fails to make things any better...
He acts as Nobita's guardian figure, but they often play together and are very close friends. He has a deathly fear of mice, and absolutely loves dorayaki!
Nobi Nobita
A 10-year-old elementary schooler. He is terrible at sports, and hates studying. He's also slow-witted and all-around lazy.
However, despite being bullied constantly, he has a naturally kind heart, and understands and values others.
Minamoto Shizuka
A cute little girl in Nobita's class. She is level-headed and very focused on her studies. She always likes to be very clean, and really loves taking baths. Despite being adored by everyone, she ultimately chooses to marry Nobita in the future.
Gouda Takeshi
Nobita's classmate. Everyone calls him "Gian". He is very rough, and proclaims himself as "Boss o' da Brats", but is actually a very friendly boy. He acts like the boss at school, but is a coward towards his parents at home. He's also very kind towards his little sister, Jaiko.
He dreams of becoming a singer, but has an incredibly awful voice that causes endless headaches for people in the neighborhood.
Honekawa Suneo
Nobita's classmate. His family's affluence causes him to act haughty. While he is very skilled at speaking glibly, he's actually very concerned with his short stature. He always takes full advantage of his many connections, so he has many different hobbies, including painting and model-building.
Nobi Tamako
Nobita's mom. She is somewhat scatterbrained, but soft-hearted. She's always scolding her good-for-nothing son, Nobita. Her most-used phrase is "Go and study, young man!"
Nobi Nobisuke
Nobita's dad. He had a dream of becoming an artist, but is now an ordinary businessman. He enjoys taking it easy, but becomes a very strict father when scolding Nobita.
Shizuka's Mom
A beautiful mother who looks just like Shizuka. As Shizuka is her only child, she treasures her more than anything.
Gian's Mom
A strict in discipline, but rather unpretentious "Ma". She runs the family general store.
Suneo's Mom
As a rich, married woman, she completely devotes herself to her child's educaton. She calls Suneo, "Sune-chama".
Jaiko
Gian's little sister. She's very good at drawing, and wants to become a comic book artist in the future. She gets a lot of affection from Gian.
Sensei
Nobita's teacher. He yells at and scolds Nobita practically everyday for always forgetting his homework or being tardy.
Dekisugi
An honor student who's good at both sports and studying. He gets along well with Shizuka, and is Nobita's rival.
Dorami
Doraemon's little sister, who was manufactured with the same oil. She is much more level-headed than Doraemon, so when her brother gets in a pinch , she comes to help Nobita in Doraemon's stead. Her favorite thing is melon bread.
She hates roaches, and her Time Machine is in the shape of a tulip.
Kaminari-san
A middle-aged man who lives in the house next to the vacant lot. Because of the baseballs Nobita and the others throw there, his precious bonsai trees are always getting broken. While he often scolds the children harshly, on the whole, he is a kind man.
Sewashi
Nobita's grandchild's grandchild. He lives in the 22nd century with Dorami. He's very level-headed, so he sent Doraemon from the future to look after the good-for-nothing Nobita. He calls Nobita "Gramps".
Mini Dora (Mini Doraemon)
One of Doraemon's secret gadgets: a cute, tiny version of Doraemon. Just like Doraemon, he can pull secret gadgets from his pocket, but they're all mini-sized.
Pawaemon
One of Doraemon's classmates from when he was in the robot academy. He graduated from the robot academy with honors, and went on to being put in charge of caring for the prime minister's child. He is very proud of his position, and while he likes to tease Doraemon for having been the school dunce, in actuality, he respects Doraemon.
Noramyaako
A cat-model dancing robot, who was one of Doraemon's classmates when he was in the robot academy. She is now a big star on stage, performing musicals and the like.
Factory Manager
The iron-fisted manager of the Matsushiba factory in the 22nd century. He believes it was his fault Doraemon was produced with defects, and wants to take responsibility for it.
